Fridtjof Nansen cruise ship docks at salvadoran shores today

Today, the Comisión Ejecutiva Portuaria Autónoma (CEPA) received the cruise ship Fridtjof Nansen in the port of Acajutla, which marks the beginning of the 2023-2024 Cruise Season.

More than 200 tourists arrived aboard this cruise ship, who visited the Joya de Cerén Archaeological Park and the Cerro Verde Natural Park.

This cruise has customized expedition equipment, including kayaks and a fleet of drones. Upon arrival, the tourists were warmly welcomed at the port of Acajutla.

This way, the 2023-2024 cruise season has been officially inaugurated, where international tourists will get to know the natural and cultural richness of El Salvador.

The president of CEPA, Federico Anliker, received the vessel. "The ship is of the exploration category, with rooms and scientific centers", he said.
