The President of Banco de Desarrollo de El Salvador (BANDESAL), Juan Pablo Durán, has begun an important tour in the Republic of Uruguay, where he will hold an exchange with public officials, business associations and state banks of Uruguay.

As a first meeting, they will make an important approach with the vice-president of the Banco Hipotecario de Uruguay, Marco Laens, and the vice-president of the Agencia Nacional de Vivienda, Gustavo Borsari, with whom they will exchange credit models.

During this tour, they took the opportunity to generate links with the Organismo Promotor de Exportaciones e Inversiones de El Salvador (PROESA) and the Ministerio de Turismo (MITUR), with potential Uruguayan investors to assist efforts in the revitalization of the salvadoran economy.

Continuing with the first day of the tour in Uruguay, they have held a day of exchange of experiences and best practices in development banking with Alejandro Lafluf, vice president of the Bank of the Oriental Republic of Uruguay, founded in 1896.

"We have presented how, through the creation of our Training and Business Development Center, we are executing a banking management strategy, providing national and international programs and diplomas in business training", said the head of BANDESAL, Juan Pablo Durán.

Likewise, they have agreed with the Vice-President to continue the conversations regarding the possibility of an eventual cooperation agreement, which would allow a greater exchange of good banking practices and reciprocal support in different areas.
