Banco CUSCATLAN supports with US$150,000 to the 8 soccer teams of El Salvador

Banco CUSCATLAN announced its sponsorship of US$150,000 dollars to the 8 national soccer teams of El Salvador. This is due to the effort that each of the selected teams puts in the different soccer games to put the name of El Salvador on high.

Banco CUSCATLAN reiterated its support to the Sub15, Sub 17, Sub 20, Sub 23,, Senior, Selecta Playera, Federación Salvadoreña de Fútbol (FUTSAL) and Women's teams; Banco CUSCATLAN will provide tickets, food sponsorship for the 8 teams, psychologist - coach fees, coach training, sports director and Selecta TV production.

"We are proud of our national teams, we believe in this new generation of players as models of commitment, passion and a constant strive for excellence. As Banco CUSCATLAN, we continue to support more athletes who defend the colors of blue and white on the field", said Ximena Robin, assistant manager of Public Relations Banco CUSCATLAN.

The senior national team defeated Guatemala with a 2-0 score last Sunday, july 11 in the Gold Cup tournament. This placed the national team in first place in group A. A debut that filled the salvadorans with pride, since it is their second match won in the same edition of the tournament.

Yesterday, the players qualified for the quarterfinals of the group stage in the match against Trinidad and Tobago.

"It was a tough game, it was a coordinated team work, which is the most important thing, to show our fans that we want to give them a national team to be proud of and today, we thank Banco CUSCATLAN that comes to give us an incentive to move forward, working with more intensity and passion, thanks Banco CUSCATLAN", said Diego Henríquez, player of the National Soccer Team.

In addition, on thursday, june 8, the draw for the Concacaf teams that will play in the next Beach Soccer World Cup was held, an activity that confirmed that El Salvador will be part of group C and will face Belarus, Switzerland and Brazil. Thus, the country and the United States will represent Concacaf in the Beach Soccer World Cup.
