Invest El Salvador bets on the country's strategies to become a logistics hub in the region.

To turn the country into a regional logistics hub, which allows local and international companies to generate employment opportunities for salvadorans and support economic development, the Investment and Export Agency of El Salvador (Invest in El Salvador), participates in the Supply Chain, Logistics, and Innovation Mission to Silicon Valley, which takes place in San Francisco, California, United States.

In this mission that brings together leaders and experts in the logistics sector and has the support of the Asociación de Zonas Francas de las Américas (AZFA), Invest in El Salvador will promote business opportunities and establish valuable contacts with key market players in this important sector to attract new investments to the country.

The potential of this mission goes beyond the establishment of strategic alliances for the supply of global export services, it also offers opportunities to connect with potential companies in relocation processes and learn about the new legislation on semiconductors, the Chips Act, issued by the U.S. government, which represents an important opportunity to increase investment in chip manufacturing technology companies in Latin America and the Caribbean.

Some topics that will be addressed are the introduction of new technologies such as automation, robotics and warehouse management systems based on artificial intelligence to boost operational efficiency in the supply chain; supply chain security using technologies such as the Internet of Things; labor demands in the supply chain industry, among other topics.
