More than 150 students from Universidad José Matías Delgado, Universidad de El Salvador, ESEN and Universidad Francisco Gavidia were present during the inauguration where young people participated in an academic debate on relevant financial topics.
"The first step to protect our money is to make it grow, and acquiring the knowledge on how to do so is the most important thing”, Superintendent Evelyn Gracias said.
Throughout the week, a series of educational and awareness-raising activities will be carried out in different educational institutions and community spaces, with the aim of reaching as many young people as possible and fostering a solid and responsible financial culture in society.
This Global Money Week event seeks to empower young people through financial education, so they can make better informed and responsible decisions about their money.
