“What we are interested in is to achieve, in coordination with the Directorate for the Reconstruction of the Social Fabric, to bring closer all the basic conditions that a human being must know to make informed decisions in financial matters. What we are looking for is that from an early age we are aware of what is the relevant information when it comes to managing our money, so that we get the most benefit from it”, explained the superintendent.

With the implementation of this program between both institutions, the coordinated work carried out by the Government of El Salvador to benefit salvadorans, through the strengthening of their skills in the management of their personal finances, which at the same time will allow them to improve the family economy or enterprises, is demonstrated.

The “Súper finanzas al CUBO” program will guarantee financial training and education to the population in the eleven Centros Urbanos de Bienestar y Oportunidades (CUBO) located in different parts of the country.

“Incentivize them, this morning, do not hide talents, do not bury them, multiply them, and here you have a very good opportunity to learn how to multiply talents, how to multiply money, which is in the end what we need to improve our quality of life”, said director Carlos Marroquín.

The workshops will be given by financial education specialists from the Superintendencia del Sistema Financiero, who will guide participants towards the development of healthy financial habits. Some of the topics to be addressed are personal finance, good use of financial products and services, and investing for the future.
