The inspectors of the General Directorate visited a total of 58 service stations, in order to certify that the gas stations have the price report within the deadline stipulated by the DGEHM, one day after the announcement of the new reference prices.
During the day, the inspectors reported the finding of five service stations that did not comply with the report in the stipulated time, so the delegates requested the managers of the gas stations to update it immediately, in order to ensure that salvadorans receive the fuel at the right price.
As the authority in charge of regulating and overseeing the distribution and commercialization of petroleum products, the delegates of the General Directorate certified that the fuel prices that the gas stations advertise on their billboards coincide with the prices marked on the dispenser pumps.
The DGEHM urges gas station managers to report fuel prices, through the Whatsapp number 7070-6253 and avoid future sanctions.
