USAID's "De Aquí Soy!" campaign seeks to promote and generate opportunities with Salvadorans, so that each person has the tools to build a good life right here in their own country. This campaign includes videos, messages and activities in the media and social networks, and face-to-face events such as this fair.

The activity was attended by residents of the eastern zone of El Salvador to leave their resumes, be interviewed and learn more about the companies and their different support programs for labor development.

The fair also had a counseling area with experts in recruitment to guide attendees to highlight their qualities in the preparation of their resume. In addition, attendees prepared their resumes with the help of graphic designers and had professional photos taken so that they could present themselves to the companies with a better preparation.

As part of the De Aquí Soy! campaign, USAID holds this type of job fairs in different parts of the country. A new edition of the fair is expected to be held in Santa Ana soon.

The event was attended by the Director of the USAID Mission in El Salvador, Christopher Cushing, who encouraged the hundreds of participants to make an effort in their search for employment, thanked the representatives of the private sector for joining efforts and encouraged more companies to join.

With more than 63 thousand members and the support of some 100 companies and allied entities, the Facebook group De Aquí Soy! (https://www.facebook.com/groups/deaquisoy) presents daily dozens of job opportunities, training courses, internships, scholarships, support for entrepreneurs and more. This is part of USAID's work for a more prosperous and secure El Salvador.
