In this event Digicel participated with a presentation "Safe Internet", where Ricardo Hernandez (Product Manager Digicel Business), spoke about the responsibility we have as adults and in this case teachers to transmit safety measures when surfing the Internet, because there are cyber dangers where students are more vulnerable.

He also stressed the importance of being alert to dubious requests, provide data to strangers, open unreliable portals, among others. "At Digicel we are extremely proud and, above all, committed to this project. That is why we know the importance of connectivity, but also Cybersecurity, key elements for the academic development of students. This is part of our Conectando Oportunidades ́ program, which has as one of its main objectives to bring connectivity and minimize the digital divide in our country. For Digicel, apart from providing connectivity, it is important that teachers and students are protected against any threat, being at the forefront of technology", said Ricardo Hernandez, Product Manager of Digicel Business.
