With the signing of the letter of understanding, the Ministerio de Trabajo and the Cámara Salvadoreña de Turismo (CASATUR) seek actions and efforts on issues related to labor insertion.

The objective of the letter of understanding is to establish coordination mechanisms between the Ministerio de Trabajo and CASATUR with the purpose of articulating actions and efforts on issues related to labor insertion.

"We are breaking schemes with the creation of more and better jobs, where there are no requirements, only that they are over 18 years old", said the minister of Labor.

These 5 thousand new jobs, are added to the 12,000 that were announced the previous week, adding a total of 17,000 work spaces that will be created in El Salvador which will benefit the salvadoran population with the objective of providing opportunities so that they can support their families and help the economy.

"The ministry of Labor will make available the departmental offices to select the profiles of young people who will opt for one of these more than 5 thousand jobs", said the head of Labor.

The president of CASATUR, Carlos Umaña, said that this agreement represents a new push towards the recovery of our sector, which is beginning to take off with a firm step.
