Public institutions sign agreement to simplify notary payment process

Written by Leydin Sorto

The Corte Suprema de Justicia (CSJ) and the Ministerio de Hacienda (MH) signed an Interinstitutional Cooperation Agreement for the Modernization of the Services provided by the Notary Section, with the purpose of facilitating and centralizing the notarial payment process.

The opening of this agency will simplify the payment process of the procedures in a secure manner through the generation of an Número de Pago Electrónico (NPE) using a device or reader. This will guarantee the timely delivery of the requested protocol sheets and the immediate issuance of testimonials.
