Pacific Airport will generate 4,700 jobs in the first year

The presidential commissioner for Strategic Projects, Cristian Flores, highlighted the progress of major projects such as the Pacific Airport, for which they already have the economic and financial report, which states that there will be the generation of about 4,700 jobs in the first year and 50,000 jobs in 10 years.

He also said that the strategic location of the Pacific Airport has already been identified, which has economic feasibility and a marketing plan. This project will bring development to the eastern part of the country.

The official said that this action is part of the 10 economic impulses for the development of the country, among them, infrastructure for the health sector and road infrastructure and markets, improvement of public educational institutions, the construction of the National Library.

The Pacific Train is another of the projects with important advances and is part of its vision to provide mobility alternatives to salvadorans, connecting with the region.

The first study determines the connectivity of greater San Salvador with Acajutla and also an exit to the border with Guatemala.

The second phase, which will go out to bid in the coming months, includes the engineering, electrical network and the option of passenger mobility in the departments.
