In terms of investments they have obtained US$161.8 thousand and in exports US$8.5 thousand.

In addition, as a result of the relations established with 150 countries around the world, El Salvador has 103 diplomatic and consular representations.

During 2023, 142 business missions have been carried out to attract investments, and promote tourism and trade.

Other aspects highlighted by the Foreign Ministry are related to the inhabitants of the delimited zones of the country, among which, 1,600 families have been favored with the delivery of agricultural packages, and 1,600 children have received school uniforms and shoes, annually.

More than 18,000 people have been given cards for border transit and safe trade.

Another very important point of improvement of the institution is the issuance of passports, according to the report, during 5 years more than one million passports have been issued; more than 770,023 Salvadorans have been assisted through the Virtual Consulate.

Among the benefits provided to Salvadorans is the Labor Mobility program of which 9,000 salvadorans are part.
