The Dirección General de Energía, Hidrocarburos y Minas (DGEHM), informs salvadorans about the new propane gas prices remain stable with the subsidies provided by the Central Government as part of the 11 economic measures implemented in 2022.

For those who buy the 25-pound presentation, the value is US$11.13 to the consumer and for those who have the targeted subsidy it is US$3.09.

For those who use the 35-pound presentation for their business or home, the value is US$15.50 to the consumer and with subsidy it is US$7.46.

In the 20-pound presentation, salvadorans will be able to purchase it at a cost of US$8.98 to the consumer and US$0.94 with subsidy. As for the 10-pound drum, they will be able to buy it at a value of US$4.61.

Gas prices for the final consumer will remain at the same value as last month, due to the subsidy extension presented by the Ministry of Finance to the Legislative Assembly and approved in december 2022.
