Housing will provide support to salvadoran families living in high-risk areas

The Ministry of Housing is working on programs to support families, who can now legalize their land with the support of the State; and those who are in high-risk areas, will be offered an alternative.

The Minister of Housing, Michelle Sol, said during a radio interview, that they will create a safe withdrawal zone so that these families are not at high risk and, then, this can be passed to the Centro Nacional de Registros (CNR), to be registered and that the land owner can give the deeds to the families.

According to Sol, if there is a lot or land in a high risk zone, they will look for a solution and the Ministry's team and architects will be able to help to see where the family can be placed.

The official explained that they seek to provide a safe roof for people in these conditions.

The ministry assures that its main commitment is with salvadoran families, who have lived in vulnerability and exclusion, so it continues to respond to their housing needs.
