Cost of school supplies down compared to 2023 prices

According to some school supplies vendors, prices have decreased compared to 2023 and it is expected that salvadorans will save a little with these new costs.

After Christmas and New Year's celebrations, back to school has arrived and many markets, shopping malls and bookstores are already prepared to start selling school supplies.

Salvadoran mothers and fathers are already buying all the necessary supplies that educational institutions are requesting to start the school year.

Among the most common school supplies that salvadorans are looking for are: notebooks, pens, pencils, pencils, erasers, pencil sharpeners, geometry cases and backpacks.

The current prices of school supplies range from the following prices:

No. 1 spiral notebooks prices are in the range of US$0.80 to US$1.20, No. 1 baked notebooks are US$1.40.

The price of the 24-unit colored boxes ranges from US$2.40 to US$7.00 depending on the brand.

The price of the 12-unit colored boxes ranges from US$1.40 to US$5.00 depending on the brand.

The price in the box of markers ranges from US$2.34 to US$5.00.

Geometry kits cost US$0.85, pencils US$0.25, bond paper US$5.70 and backpacks from US$6.00.
