As part of its 2025 strategy to "Accelerate Sustainable Growth," the Grupo Holcim aims to achieve 30% of its global net sales from the solutions and products segment, moving from an operation focused primarily on cements, concretes and aggregates to a portfolio of integrated solutions from foundations to roofs.

Through this acquisition, Holcim adds a distribution channel for Minerals and Aggregates products through the Disensa hardware store network in El Salvador, with the potential to expand to other countries in the Central American region where Holcim has operations. At the same time, Holcim will supply raw materials to the Minerales y Agregados plant, located in Guatemala, from its cement plants located in the municipality of Metapán, El Salvador, some 180 kilometers away.
