Expo Pan, Pizza y Repostería 2023, a place to learn, grow and innovate, has kicked off

With the purpose of feeding the world to fill it with well-being, CMI Alimentos, a group of Corporación Multi Inversiones (CMI), inaugurated the second edition of EXPO PAN, PIZZA Y REPOSTERÍA 2023, the largest event of this industry in Central America and the Caribbean, which brings together the most important suppliers and buyers in the region, as well as national and international visitors.

CMI executives, accompanied by authorities, diplomatic corps, private sector, sponsors, entrepreneurs and the general public, attended the inauguration of EXPO PAN, PIZZA Y REPOSTERÍA 2023.

"At CMI we strongly believe in the opportunity to grow together and events like this are a sign of this commitment. We are opening spaces to work even closer to the sector and boost the growth of their businesses. Thus, working together, we are stronger and promote food security in the country", said Daniel Maldonado, director of B4B CMI Alimentos.  

EXPO PAN, PIZZA Y REPOSTERÍA 2023 is a unique event of its kind, open to the general public and designed to promote the development and growth of the bakery, pizza and confectionery sector in the country, Central America and the Caribbean.

"We are very pleased to inaugurate EXPO PAN, PIZZA Y REPOSTERÍA 2023, which has more than 80 stands and national and international exhibitors. We are sure it will be a space of great value for the sector, where families will also be able to enjoy demonstrations, tastings and spaces designed especially for them", said Carlos Ramirez, Senior director of Marketing and Innovation of CMI Alimentos.

This event takes place at Salamanca Eventos, Nuevo Cuscatlán, on march 10 and 11, from 9 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. It is open to the public and admission is free. In addition, free transportation is being provided from the Plaza Divino Salvador del Mundo and Multiplaza area, at different times. 

Attendees to the first day of activity could enjoy a demonstration and discussion with the famous Colombian pastry chef and confectioner, Mark Rausch. In addition, there were workshops on Pizza-art, whipped or sponge doughs and regional corn breads, among others.
