The institution said that the new jobs are part of the "Oportunidades" and "Inserción Laboral" programs, especially for young people between 18 and 21 years of age, people over 40 years of age, people with disabilities and single mothers.
Meanwhile, the head of the institution, Rolando Castro, said that from La Unión to Ahuachapán, the 14 departmental offices are promoting the Gira por el Empleo, which helps to promote formal employment throughout the country.
Thanks to this event, which took place on february 6 in San Miguel, for the four eastern departments, and on february 15 in Santa Ana, more salvadorans from both regions of the country are being inserted in decent jobs made available to the Government by private enterprise.
As an example of the success that the Gira por el Empleo is having at national level, Minister Castro inaugurated this saturday a typical food and souvenirs business in Juayúa, called El Rincón de Juan Manuel, a renowned voice imitator artist.
The official explained that the institution seeks that micro, small and medium enterprises continue knocking on doors and generate better conditions for salvadorans and the country.
