The minister of Housing, Michelle Sol held a meeting with representatives of New Story Charity, Gente Ayudando Gente, The Fuller Center and organizations that support the implementation of housing projects in El Salvador.

The purpose of the meeting was to strengthen the bonds of friendship and cooperation, in order to continue benefiting more salvadoran families and also presented some of the projects that have been implemented thanks to their support.

The El Espino housing complex is one of the projects that have benefited from the cooperation of the three NGOs, through which they have transformed the lives of dozens of salvadoran families.

The president of The Fuller Center, pointed out that El Salvador is the second country that the Fuller Center for Housing has visited since 2006 and added that they started building a project in San Luis Talpa.

Likewise, the President of the organization Gente ayudando a Gente, expressed that human development happens with the family inside a house, and having a house is very important.

Minister Sol said that they are joining efforts to provide adequate and safe housing solutions to families in Antiguo and Nuevo Cuscatlán, San Salvador and Sonsonate.

She also affirmed that the projects are transforming the quality of life of thousands of low-income families, who are moving from structures built with sheets, wood and plastic to adequate housing.

Through different modalities of interest-free credits, accessible installments and mutual aid work, the families contribute to their new house, in a joint work with the cooperators and the Government.
