This maintenance, which is part of an investment planned for this year with a budget of US$3 million, demonstrates our commitment to operational excellence and continuity in energy supply. We are taking advantage of the dry season to maximize the efficiency of our operations and ensure optimal service for more than two million users and customers.

At this moment, the institution is focused on the major maintenance of Unit No. 5, which is expected to be completed on march 25.

Teams of internal and external experts are working hard to optimize the plant's performance. To date, 50% progress has been made in the revision and maintenance of critical systems such as the intake, turbine, and generator, among other key components.

They also have a team of 12 electricians, 12 mechanics, as well as an Electrical Supervisor and a Mechanical Supervisor, who are on the lookout for each stage of the process to guarantee the quality and efficiency of the work performed.

It is worth mentioning that 5 de Noviembre is one of the most important and strategic plants, both for its location and for the number of generating units it has.
