The Minister of Housing, Michelle Sol, informed that 63 families from El Espino community, who used to live in the Cancillería boulevard, in Antiguo Cuscatlán, were given apartments.

A few days ago, the minister of Housing, Michelle Sol, delivered the apartments to the last remaining families in the green area of the aforementioned boulevard and verified the removal of their belongings.

She stated, "now, all the families have an adequate and dignified place to live, that is why they are yours, who this friday, september 3, are handing over this place".

"The lane that remained closed for more than three years will be remembered as a place of refuge for the families of the El Espino community, whose reality was already transformed through a model of aid and fair share created by the Ministry of Housing", said the minister of Housing, Michelle Sol.

The official thanked the help of the cooperators of Gente Ayudando Gente, New Story and The Fuller Center for Housing.

"The street was not closed on a whim, it was closed out of necessity, so that their children would not be run over. They were mothers worried because their children did not have a decent place, but, that is part of the past, it is time to turn the page and we tell them now they have a solution", said the minister, Michelle Sol.
