Ministry of Housing invested US$823.5 million in loans, deeds and resettlements

Through social networks, the minister of Housing, Michelle Sol, announced that US$823.5 million have been invested in the delivery of credits, deeds, resettlement and housing, in the four and a half years she has been in office.

 

 

In a report she shared on the social network "X", it is reflected that through the Fondo Social para la Vivienda (FSV) more than US$701.3 million in loans have been deeded, exceeding the initial goal of US$400 million for the five-year period.

With this deeds, 33,300 families have benefited, representing more than 139,850 salvadorans.

According to the official, 7,879 loans for US$274.2 million have been granted for new housing, and 18,127 loans for US$332.8 million for used housing and other lines.

It is important to highlight that 53.2% of the total number of deeded loans have been granted to women, generating an investment of US$364.6 million; in the Casa Joven Program, 7,324 loans were deeded for US$164 million; for people between 60 and 70 years of age, 548 loans have been granted for US$12.4 million.

The recovery of homes in gang-dominated areas has also been achieved; 7,293 houses were sold for US$94.3 million.
