High-quality internet is enabled in the central park of Santiago Nonualco, La Paz

This friday, the Undersecretary of Innovation, Denis Pocasangre, went to the central park of Santiago Nonualco, in La Paz, to enable free access to high quality internet, for all residents of the place and surrounding areas, thanks to the Conectando El Salvador program.

From this day on, users with their mobile device will be able to access the network, which has no password to guarantee its accessibility.

In these public spaces where free internet has been enabled, citizens will be able to consult information online, as well as have access to digital procedures available at the One Stop Shop of the Government of El Salvador (http://simple.sv).

"At the same time, we have turned on the signal so that people can also connect in Santiago Nonualco, San Pedro Nonualco and Santa María Ostuma", said the official.

The Secretariat of Innovation is working hard to offer the population various training mechanisms with the help of technology. To date, the project has 40 public spaces enabled with this internet, the goal is to reach 100 points throughout the country.
