Deputies approved special law to allocate funds to the FSV
The Legislation and Constitutional Points Committee ruled in favor of creating a special law that authorizes the Fondo Social para la Vivienda (FSV), to give on gratuitous loan real estate located in the Urbanization La Campanera in the municipality of Soyapango.
The FSV closed january 2024 with a default rate of 2.20%.
The Ministry of Housing announced that the delinquency rate at the end of january 2024 was 2.20%, lower than the closing of december 2023, which was 2.37%.
Housing and FSV have invested US$500 million in housing loans and benefits
The minister of Housing, Michelle Sol, informed this morning that together with the Fondo Social para la Vivienda (FSV), they have invested US$500 million to benefit 33,000 families with credits, contributions for construction or improvement, deeds, and resettlement.
Housing through the FSV benefited 7,503 families with US$161 million in loans
The Ministry of Housing has benefited 24,700 families, representing more than one million salvadorans with credits, contributions for construction and home improvement, resettlement, housing kits, and legalizations.
US$50 million granted to finance FSV housing projects
The Central Government announced the signing of an agreement with the Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI), which will facilitate access to credit for the granting of housing in the Vida Digna (PROVIDA) program for salvadorans.
