The Comisión Nacional de la Micro y Pequeña Empresa (CONAMYPE), together with the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), the Ministry of Tourism, the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), the Cooperation Agency of El Salvador (ESCO) held the closing of the diploma course: "Empowering Your Business With Artificial Intelligence", with the purpose of training medium and small enterprises (MYPES) through digital strategies to enhance their businesses.

The training process allowed the specialization of 85 entrepreneurs, of which 57 were women and 28 men, in topics such as: e-commerce, the use of digital channels, digital marketing and the support of artificial intelligence to business models.

With this initiative, we empower entrepreneurs with artificial intelligence tools to contribute to the sustainability and productivity of their online businesses.

According to CONAMYPE data, at least 7 out of every 10 people employed work in MYPES in El Salvador. In addition, MYPES generate 70% of formal employment.

This alliance seeks to consolidate capacities for the generation of products and improvement of tourism services in the communities, through inclusive digitalization, innovation and empowerment of MYPES.
