Lancetilla is the green jewel of Honduras, a beautiful protected area, with a tropical rainforest that has a great biodiversity of flora. This natural paradise, located a few meters from one of the entrances to Tela, can delight any visitor.

It is worth mentioning that it is the national pride for being the second largest tropical garden in the world, located in the heart of Central America, this is a space that also has rooms for tourists with an approximate cost of US$15 per night, there is a restaurant and lots of vegetation to spend an incredible vacation in this beautiful place.
Lancetilla Park has one of the most complete orchid collections in the world and contains a collection of 824 species including timber, fruit, toxic and ornamental.
It has an extension of 1,681 hectares, of which 1,261 are a nature reserve, 350 are plantations and 70 hectares correspond to an arboretum. The collection includes some 1,500 species, mainly focused on tropical fruiting plants.
This site is located at KM 90 on the CA 13 highway that leads from San Pedro Sula to La Ceiba, in the municipality of Tela, Honduras.
Entrance fees hondurans, adults 50 lempiras, Seniors 40 lempiras, Students 25 lempiras, children 15 lempiras. Hours are monday to sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
In addition, Tela is known for its natural white sand beaches and its beautiful surroundings that make it one of the main tourist destinations in Honduras.
