10 measures to fight inflation as a family

Written by Evelyn Alas

The increase in prices and services is affecting lower-income families the most. These are actions that we can all put into practice to face the current situation.

1-Draw up a family budget with details of income and expenses, this will allow you to prioritize which expenses are necessary and which can be left for later or eliminated for good. Before buying something, consider objectively whether it is really necessary.

2-Do not make a purchase decision until you have compared prices and quality. In your comparative always consider reliable e-commerce platforms, sometimes they usually have a wide range of products and brands, and are often cheaper. Of course, take care of all security measures for the protection of your personal information and make sure you only spend what is indispensable.

3. Make a list of necessary products. This will help you to spend only what is indispensable and not to "throw into the cart" indiscriminately what you want.

4. Give a chance to the most economical brands that guarantee good quality, even if they are not the ones you are used to or your favorites. An excellent option is the so-called "free" or "white" brands, a line of generic products that the supermarket sells under its name with a very good level of quality, since they are products that the store orders from one of the suppliers of the brands it sells.
