CENADE becomes Dirección General de Subsidios benefiting more salvadorans

The Ministry of Finance is calling the Salvadoran population that has the benefit of the liquefied gas subsidy that now the Centro de Atención y Administración de Subsidios (CENADE) will become the Dirección General de Subsidios (DGS).

This institution will be in charge of efficiently and transparently assisting people who wish to request or verify if they can be beneficiaries of the liquefied gas subsidy granted by the Central Government and will also attend to the points of sale that wish to affiliate for the distribution of the service.

How can I know if I have a subsidy? You can call 2237-3333 or write to WhatsApp 7072-2484.

The consultations that can be made are: gas and electricity subsidies, incorporation of points of sale, activation and PIN change, location of counters and customer service centers.

In order to obtain the gas subsidy, you must go to the nearest DGS (there is one in each department) where they will provide you with the required information and documentation.

Do not forget to bring your Documento Único de Identidad (DUI) and electricity bill for the current or previous month (if you have electricity in your home).
