More than 1,000 people trained in the Upskilling & Reskilling project

The minister of Economy, María Luisa Hayem, participated in the closing of the Upskilling & Reskilling project, developed with the objective of training the country's human talent.

The Upskilling & Reskilling project strengthens the competencies and digital skills of salvadorans, which are demanded by the technology services sector. Through this method, the Central Government trained more than 1,000 participants from different areas of the country.

The participants were trained in design, software development, cybersecurity, networks, servers and databases.

The specializations were taught by internationally certified instructors, through learning methods based on Information and Communication Technologies (ICT).

With the Upskilling & Reskilling project, participants acquired knowledge in software development through tools such as JavaScript, Microsoft SQL Server, Django, React Native, JavaServer Faces, Python and Node.js.

With the implementation of these projects, MINEC promotes the development of companies in the technology sector in El Salvador.

The official thanked the team that has worked hard to implement this strategy and to influence the technological and digital training of human talent.

The institution works to improve the professional profile of human talent in the technology sector in the country, which implies a greater production of services and increased exports of these companies.
