Ministry of Labor seeks to establish labor market in Spain, Italy and Qatar

The minister of Labor, Rolando Castro, informed in a morning interview that the trip made by the institution to the International Labor Organization (ILO), in Genova Switzerland, has the objective of looking for new jobs in Spain, in addition to other labor markets such as Italy and Qatar.

He said that he will soon travel to Italy, because they have signed a commitment, due to the fact that there is a program that can generate temporary job opportunities in that country. Also, he said that they already have projections of meetings with businessmen and with state portfolios in Italy.

In Spain they have already signed a commitment with the Spanish Chamber and are fine-tuning details to be able to take another contingent of salvadorans to this country.

Likewise, he said that for the month of may another contingent of salvadorans will leave for Canada, for a period of two years. Castro affirms that only in the United States, there are approximately 14 contingents and in Canada 3 contingents.

In addition, the program guarantees that people can work and enjoy their rights in these countries, but beneficiaries are not allowed to stay outside the salvadoran borders for a longer period of time.

Castro emphasizes that this program seeks that in the future migration will be an exception and a tourist option, without the need to live outside the country illegally.

He affirmed that today a group of people with disabilities will be placed in the department of Santa Ana.
