Salvadorans without subsidy will pay US$11.13 for their 25-pound drum of gas

The Ministry of Economy (MINEC), announced the new variations in the prices of Liquefied Propane Gas (LPG), which will be in effect from today tuesday, february 1st until monday, february 28th.

The presentation of the gas cylinder most used by the population is the 25 pounds, it will cost US$11.13, but if you have the benefit of the subsidy of US$8.04 you will only pay US$3.09.

The 35 pound cylinder will cost US$15.50 and with the subsidy it will cost US$7.46.

In addition, people who purchase the 20-pound gas presentation will have a cost of US$8.98 and with subsidy will only pay US$0.94.

Salvadorans who prefer to buy the 10-pound gas presentation will pay US$5.93 and will have a decrease of US$1.32, thus remaining at a cost of US$4.61.

The price changes are due to, Oil supplies stopped due to storms in the United States and Canada.

If you order your gas at home, remember to check with the seller if the service has an additional cost.
