El Salvador was awarded US$35.423 billion in LETES yesterday

The Central Government held yesterday an auction of Letras del Tesoro de la Nación (LETES) at 316 and 356 days, awarding US$35,423 million at a yield of 7.50%, as announced by the Asociación Salvadoreña de Intermediarios Bursátiles (ASIB) through its twitter account.

The Ministry of Finance attended the local market to carry out the Treasury Certificates Auction, and was awarded US$35,423 million at a yield of 7.50%.

A report by the Fundación Salvadoreña para el Desarrollo Económico y Social (FUSADES), states that El Salvador reports the highest debt balance in its history with a term of less than one year.

In addition, the ASIB, indicates through its social networks that salvadorans can consult with the Brokerage Firms, the information related to the placement dates, characteristics and everything concerning the negotiations.
