Written by Karla Gutiérrez

Representatives of Industrias San Miguel, a peruvian company in the beverage and food sector, has turned its attention to El Salvador to expand its operations.

To this end, the Foreign Ministry, through its embassy in the South American nation and its Directorate of Economic Relations, was responsible for the arrangements that enabled the arrival of the delegation, as well as the agenda in our territory, with a view to know firsthand our potential for trade and investment.

In this regard, the group held meetings with the Ministry of Economy and the Agencia de Promoción de Inversión y Exportaciones de El Salvador (INVEST), who presented the business outlook, the steps to follow and the attractions available to undertake productive projects.

They also visited several free trade zones, as options for the company to have a presence in our territory, through the commercialization of its products, initially, and later, with the installation of a factory.

Vice Chancellor Mira reiterated the support of this institution with a view to concretize the operations of this company.

“Thank you for giving the country an opportunity. We are pleased to know that we are of your total interest, and we are at your service, together with the rest of the entities with which we work in an articulated manner for a friendly country for foreign investment", said the diplomat.
