U.S. Foreign Ministry hosts visit of U.S. business group interested in El Salvador's business potential

The Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs, Adriana Mira, received today a delegation of businessmen from the United States, who are part of  Primera Consulting Group, a firm that represents various companies and business projects in the United States and Mexico.

More than 25 business representatives, who consolidate an investment potential of more than US$500 million in the  Primera Consulting Group.

The visit of this delegation was possible thanks to the efforts and approaches made by the Embassy of El Salvador in the U.S. Likewise, the interest of this business group is motivated by the important transformations that our country is experiencing in economic and social matters, among others.

"It is an honor for us that you have set your eyes on El Salvador. We are a land of many opportunities and today, more than ever, we are at our best moment to invest and do business with our country", assured the Vice Chancellor of the Republic to the visitors.

She also said that, in addition to having the support of this portfolio to follow up and address their queries and requirements, they work in coordination with other government agencies, which will contribute to have a much more solid support so that they have the necessary inputs to succeed in establishing themselves here.

"We are fully available, within the framework of our diplomacy strategy, so that we walk together until they can establish business or make an investment in our nation", said the diplomat.

Precisely, for the group to have the full picture of our potential, business climate and regulatory frameworks, the Foreign Ministry arranged a series of meetings with key entities, according to the interests of the delegation, which focus on the areas of tourism, real estate, industry, and technology, as well as visits to various points of interest, such as the Historic Center of San Salvador.

In this regard, meetings have been scheduled with Agencia de Promoción de Inversiones y Exportaciones de El Salvador (INVEST), the Secretary of Strategic Affairs and the Ministry of Tourism; as well as with the Cámara Americana de Comercio (AMCHAM), representing the private sector.

"We are interested in exploring and moving forward together with you. We see a country with accelerated economic growth and enormous potential, which generates business and investment opportunities", said Felix Garcia, representing the delegation.
