Written by Karla Gutiérrez

The director of Aduanas de El Salvador (DGA), Benjamín Mayorga, visited the facilities of the company Enerwire, which manufactures electrical conductors, to learn about the projects under development that the firm maintains and offer support in facilitating procedures.

"We want to know the processes and needs of each company to be able to support and provide a better service from the Government, through Customs", said the official.

Enerwire is one of the 13 companies that were certified as reliable operators in january, which gives them expedited attention at border points.

This certification is awarded to companies that comply with customs and tax regulations and implement processes that allow traceability, security and predictability of their operations.

"As a government we continue to work in coordination with different institutions to provide trade facilitation tools to users", Mayorga said.

Among other visits to businessmen, Mayorga held in late january a meeting with representatives of companies located in the free trade zone American Industrial Park, in which he learned about the growth projections of the firms and verified that customs processes are carried out efficiently and without delay.
