More than 300 women benefited from the XIX Congreso Mujer y Liderazgo, organized by the Women Entrepreneurs Committee of the Cámara de Comercio e Industria de El Salvador (Camarasal).

The event aimed to provide relevant information on leadership issues, motivation and technological tools that allow women leaders to develop in their different roles.

"We hope that this edition of the congress will be an opportunity to share experiences and knowledge with women leaders of companies in various sectors of our economy. We hope it will be a symbol of the commitment that Camarasal has always had with the business development of women", said Jorge Hasbún, president of the association.

The presentations were given by experts from Guatemala, Costa Rica, Colombia and El Salvador, addressing topics such as: "3 keys to achieve exponential results for your brand in 2023", "The new female leadership", "Crisis control: learning to manage adversity with skill" and "From anxious and exhausted to calm and focused", "Entrepreneurship and Advancement in Times of ChatGPT".

Camarasal recognized Celsa de Vásquez as Mujer Destacada 2023.

As a highlight of the XIX Congreso Mujer y Liderazgo, Camarasal presented the Mujer Destacada 2023 award to businesswoman Celsa Orbelina Palacios de Vásquez.

The association recognized the work and effort of the founder and owner of Farmacias San Rafael and Librerías Marcela, a company founded in 1981 and a member of the association since 2012.

Mujer Destacada de 2023 provides employment to more than 300 employees and stands out for its social projection through the "My First Job" program, which has provided job opportunities to young high school graduates with no previous experience, teaching them everything they need to develop in the formal labor market.
