Máank'inal, a unique culinary experience of its kind, is about to captivate the palates of the region with its mystical and transcendental gastronomic proposal. This event, which will take place on saturday, july 22, at the Museo Nacional de Antropología (MUNA),promises to transport diners to a universe full of millenary wisdom and unforgettable emotions.

The name Máank'inal comes from the Yucatecan Maya language and means "party". This expression encapsulates the essence of the event, which fuses culinary art with the mystique of alebrijes to create a unique gastronomic experience in the Central American region. Diners will have the opportunity to enjoy an-8-course dinner, designed by renowned chefs who have left a significant mark on the international culinary scene.

The guest chefs that will bring this experience to life are:

Pia Salazar: Recognized as the World's Best Pastry Chef, Pia Salazar has revolutionized pastry-making with her innovative approach and use of indigenous ingredients. Her creativity and talent have been honored with the prestigious award

2. Janaina Torres: As chef of the renowned restaurant A Casa do Porco, Janaina Torres has

Torres has made her mark on the gastronomic scene with her bold and creative approach. She has been recognized with the American Express Icon Award by Latin America's 50 Best Restaurants, in recognition of her outstanding career and commitment to the community.

In addition to these outstanding chefs, we are also honored to have our resident chef, Gracia Navarro, a talented salvadoran cook, pastry chef and baker. Gracia has dedicated her life to exploring the flavors and culinary techniques of her country and the world. Her cuisine is rooted in the memories of her childhood, the stories she has collected throughout El Salvador, and the inspiration she finds in different cultures and gastronomic traditions.

As a leading exponent of salvadoran gastronomy, Gracia works closely with small producers and indigenous communities in El Salvador. Her commitment to these communities has allowed her to contribute to local development and the preservation of ancestral culinary techniques. Through her work, she has become an important promoter of modern salvadoran cuisine and its native ingredients, always with a deep respect for the culture and tradition of her country.

Additionally, we are pleased to have the presence of journalist Margarita Bernal. Margarita is a writer and communicator with a passion for cooking. Throughout her career, she has researched and studied gastronomy, writing articles for various national and international print media. Her chronicles, interviews and biographies of outstanding personalities of the culinary world have captured the attention of readers and have enriched the gastronomic scene.

During the Máank'inal dinner, diners will have the opportunity to taste representative dishes from each chef, highlighting iconic ingredients from the South American and salvadoran regions. This one-of-a-kind culinary experience seeks to broaden gastronomic horizons and provide a transcendental experience that fuses authentic flavors with avant-garde techniques.
