As part of their social responsibility, Banco CUSCATLAN and SISA Seguros continue their support to the Cruz Roja Salvadoreña by delivering this valuable donation for the purchase of supplies and equipment for volunteers who respond to land and water incidents.

“Being aware that this season is one of the most awaited by families, Banco CUSCATLAN is committed to support with life-saving supplies the plan executed by Cruz Roja Salvadoreña for the prevention of maritime and land accidents during this season. This donation will contribute to ensure safe recreation and help lifeguards and lifeguards to act immediately with their skills and abilities to safeguard the lives of many salvadorans”, said Evelyn Pozas, Corporate Relations and CSR Coordinator of Banco CUSCATLAN.

The donation from Banco CUSCATLAN and SISA Seguros will allow the supply of rescue equipment with cases for first aid kits and medical supplies, strategic canopies for the aid stations, coolers to keep hydration supplies at the right temperature, and bags that will facilitate the transport of materials necessary for the members of the Cruz Roja Salvadoreña, all with the aim of providing optimal care to people in emergency situations.

"We are deeply grateful for the support provided by Banco CUSCATLAN and SISA Seguros, who have been in solidarity with our humanitarian institution for several years, making it possible for our volunteers, both lifeguards and lifeguards, to have the proper equipment and supplies to facilitate their work to save lives. This period is considered highly vulnerable due to the increased risk of land and water accidents, due to the mobility of vacationers and parishioners", said José Benjamín Ruíz Rodas, President of the Cruz Roja Salvadoreña.

The Easter Week Plan implemented by the Cruz Roja during this season allows to guide and support the population with prevention, protection and first aid, safety, and aquatic rescue measures in an effective and efficient manner.

This year, service will be offered in 11 aquatic posts in beaches and resorts of greater affluence, as well as in 22 terrestrial posts in the main highways, in addition to the activation of 60 branches that will serve as Aid Stations, with approximately 2,000 volunteers distributed throughout the national territory.

"In SISA Seguros, we are committed to deliver this donation to the Cruz Roja Salvadoreña. This contribution will be used to purchase medical equipment, which will provide the team of lifeguards and lifeguards with the appropriate supplies to facilitate their important work of saving lives during the Easter Week contingency plans. This donation will safeguard the lives of salvadorans during the vacations", said Sandra Velásquez, Marketing and Communications Coordinator of SISA Seguros.

The Easter Contingency Plan 2024 has the necessary guidance for the salvadoran population to take preventive measures, protection and first aid care, allowing them to enjoy their vacation without mishaps.
