The Ministerio de Trabajo y Previsión Social, will manage in the coming days new options and formal employment opportunities for more salvadorans, who for various reasons are not working since the beginning of this year.

This was announced by the Ministerio de Trabajo y Previsión Social, Rolando Castro, who said that the first tour he will make will take place in the east of the country, to seek employment opportunities among private companies in the area to help salvadorans who need to join the labor market.

"In a few days we will tour and meet with businessmen throughout the national territory. We will make a tour for employment. This program is to place thousands of people who today do not have formal employment", confirmed the official.

The goal is to surpass the number of jobs created last year for different segments of the population through the Ministry's Employment Exchange, which amounted to 15,000, in addition to the approximately 55,000 jobs generated directly by the different productive sectors.

According to the official, for this 2023 the projection is to double the number of jobs created last year, always through the same mechanism of the labor exchange and the intermediation of the Ministry of Labor, thanks to the good relations that the Government of President Bukele has established with the different productive sectors.

This is in addition to the jobs that continue to be generated abroad, as part of the Labor Migration Program, thanks to which this week a new group of salvadorans was sent to work legally in Canada.

Meanwhile, departmental offices continue to receive resumes from salvadorans who arrive daily to drop them off, so that they can be helped to find a formal job with fair remuneration.

"Our central office in San Salvador is conducting interviews with different companies, the job offers are for different areas. We continue to provide opportunities for decent and dignified employment throughout the country", confirmed the institution.
