"In this period of celebration of Christmas and New Year's Eve, it is important to note that the Defensoría del Consumidor will be deploying important efforts nationwide. We will have more than 60 points of attention on a national scale of teams from the Defensoría del Consumidor that will approach different shopping centers, parks, and will also be available to address the problems of the population that is making their purchases during the Christmas period", said Salazar.
The authorities will be present in many commercial establishments, such as supermarkets, companies or stores dedicated to the commercialization of dairy products and sausages, to verify the exact weight of those products released; therefore, the Defensoría del Consumidor will remain deployed to comply with the Consumer Protection Law.
The Defensoría del Consumidor reminds the population that in case of detecting irregularities in the services or products purchased, it is possible to file a complaint or receive advice, by calling 910 and WhatsApp: 7844-1482.
