The cyberattack known as smishing, a variant of phishing, is the type of fraud attempt that, in 2021, affected 74% of the organizations analyzed by Proofpoint to prepare its report 'State of the Phish Report 2022'. Seeking to contribute to environmental sustainability, the Comisión Ejecutiva Hidroeléctrica del Río Lempa (CEL) reported progress in the process to build the power generation plant from waste in San Salvador, which will have an installed capacity of 5.2 megawatts, of which 2.85 megawatts will be through biogas; 1.9 megawatts with photovoltaic and 0.45 MW with the small hydroelectric plant, which is expected to produce electricity for about 21,000 families.
