The mayor's office of San Salvador invested more than US$500 thousand in the execution of the project, included in the Plan Una Obra por Día, which focuses on the construction of modern infrastructure for recreational and sports use.

The mayor of San Salvador, Mario Durán, completed a new project for the people of the capital and officially handed over the new Ecoparque La Cima, a first class public space, located on San Patricio Boulevard in Jardines de la Cima III, District 4.

During the weekend, the mayor surprised the neighbors with the pre-opening of the site to give them a preview with music, folkloric dance and a fireworks show.

"This space remained abandoned for years, but we evaluated its potential and had the vision to recover it to build a first class park, in which the conservation of natural assets was prioritized. The people of the capital deserve these projects that allow them to take advantage of their free time as a family, those are the valuable moments we want to propitiate for our children and youth", said Durán.
