In her work agenda in the Kingdom of Spain, the minister of Foreign Affairs, Alexandra Hill, held a meeting with her counterpart of this nation, Manuel Albares, to strengthen the bilateral agenda and cooperation.

During the meeting, minister Albares thanked Foreign Minister Hill for her visit, while expressing his satisfaction for the excellent relations of friendship that exist. "I thank Chancellor Albares for his attentions in the framework of my working visit. I also express my gratitude to the people and the Kingdom of Spain for all the support in favor of the development of our country", said Minister Hill.

Both diplomats followed up on bilateral cooperation, which is part of the Marco de Asociación País (MAP), a sustained collaboration mechanism that will soon be continued through the Second Dialogue of Political Consultations.

Minister Albares highlighted Spain's presence in initiatives to rebuild the social fabric of El Salvador and its full support for the nation's development processes.

In this same work agenda, both officials signed a Memorandum of Understanding for the International Promotion of the Spanish Language in the diplomatic sphere and in international organizations.

"We are very pleased to sign this alliance in which we will promote our mother tongue in multilateral spaces. We are very proud to work on this cultural and educational initiative", said Minister Hill.

During the work agenda, Minister Hill was accompanied by the Ambassador to the Kingdom of Spain, Joaquín Maza Martelli.
