Davivienda Seguros and its project for the recovery and restoration of the Barra de Santiago Mangrove, is one of the flagship biodiversity alliances executed in partnership with the German Cooperation GIZ and FUNDEMAS, for the application of biodiversity criteria in the productive systems of companies.

As part of the sustainability strategy of Davivienda in El Salvador, its subsidiary Davivienda Seguros reaffirms again its commitment to biodiversity, through mangrove conservation in the country; therefore it is committed to continue carrying out restoration activities in the Barra de Santiago complex, located in the department of Ahuachapán, which is a wetland of international importance, according to the Ramsar Convention.
