Business members of the Cámara de Comercio e Industria de El Salvador (CAMARASAL) participated in the "Business Meeting: Impact of good business practices for youth employability with a green or digital approach".

This activity is implemented by the Programa Promoción del Empleo Juvenil y de la Resiliencia en Centroamérica (CaPAZ II), of the German Development Cooperation (GIZ).

During the activity, Claudia Zelaya, country manager for El Salvador, Honduras and Nicaragua of Manpower Group, also gave a talk on "Impact of good business practices for youth employability with a green or digital approach".

In addition, Rodrigo Cuadra, GIZ's technical advisor on employability and comprehensive training, presented the Regional Capaz II program, emphasizing partnership actions with the private sector in best practices.

"I can tell you that the main objective of the Program for the Promotion of Youth Employability and Resilience in Central America CaPAZ II is that young people living in cities with high rates of violence in El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras are strengthened in psychosocial resilience and employability", said Leticia Escobar, second vice president of CAMARASAL.

The objective of this activity was to promote the exchange of experiences and knowledge among companies committed to good practices, through strategies focused on environmental sustainability and digital transformation, with the purpose of identifying concrete opportunities to strengthen youth employability.
