The Ministry of Finance has announced that it has successfully surpassed the goal established for the filing of Income Tax returns for the year 2023, managing to receive a total of 811,473 returns as of april 30, which represents an increase of 12% over the target figure previously established by the institution.

At the Congreso Regional de Sostenibilidad Ambiental (CRESA), Agata Krause, an expert in sustainable urban development for UN Habitat, gave an important presentation on sustainable urban development, in compliance with the 2030 Agenda.

The minister of Finance, Alejandro Zelaya, informed salvadorans that the institution expects to collect US$2.5 billion in Income Tax (ISR), and in terms of refunds it could be around US$35 to 40 million.
