Up to US$0.05 increase in super and regular gasoline in El Salvador

The Dirección General de Energías, Hidrocarburos y Minas (DGEHM), informs salvadorans that prices for each gallon of fuel will increase up to US$0.05 for super and regular gasoline, while diesel will have a decrease of US$0.01.

These prices will be in effect from June 13 to 26, 2023, for those who buy fuel in the central zone the cost for super gasoline will be US$4.37, regular US$4.16 and diesel US$3.58.

For the western zone super gasoline will be US$4.68 per gallon, regular US$4.17 and diesel US$3.59.

In the eastern zone the price of a gallon of super will be US$4.42, regular US$4.20 and diesel US$3.63.

The institution affirms that the external factors that have influenced the variation of prices are: production agreement of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), maintaining a strong influence in the international prices of the input.
