Regular gasoline will cost between US$4.01 and US$3.96 from january 10th to 23rd

For salvadorans who are running low on fuel, the Ministerio de Economía (MINEC), announced the reference prices that will be in effect from january 10 to 23, 2023.

Those who buy premium gasoline in the central zone will pay US$4.09, regular US$3.96 and diesel US$4.48 for each gallon to be consumed.

People who buy premium gasoline in the western zone the price per gallon is US$4.10, regular US$3.97 and US$4.48 for diesel.

Transporters who purchase premium gasoline in the eastern zone will find the value per gallon at US$4.13, regular US$4.01 and diesel US$4.52.

Likewise, MINEC details that as of december 31, 2022 the fuel subsidy will end.

Separately, oil prices rose more than 3% today, according to international media, as China's decision to reopen its borders boosted demand prospects and overshadowed global recession fears.
