During the meeting, details of the tourist offer that Roatan has for the salvadoran market were offered. It was highlighted that the island offers activities for all tastes and ages: family packages, couples tourism, incentives for weddings and sporting events, besides being one of the world's main centers for diving, since the destination has the second most important coral reef in the world.

The new air route has great relevance in the region, as it joins two strategic destinations such as the salvadoran capital and one of the main beach tourist destinations in the region.

The island of Roatan is considered one of the main tourist attractions in Central America, as it is part of the Mesoamerican reef system and is known for its beautiful beaches, diving sites and the presence of marine fauna.
